Last day is from Monterrey to Lima with a stop at Caral.

Unlike Machu Pichu or Lake Titicaca, there was surprisingly not a single tourist. The way to the excavated ruins of the 5000 years old city which is nestled between smaller mountains was, was a hard off road piste.

Then fighting the way back through the really difficult Lima traffic where everyone has the music on full blast and the foot does not know anything also than accelerating. Footage is only on the go pro and will be added later…

Finally returning the bike to Flavio, a really nice guy who can be strongly recommended to anyone who is looking to rent a bike in Peru.

In Lima I was also received and greeted by their chief Chipmunk 👇

That brings our Peru chapter to and end.

With a total of 4800 km (3000km a perfect ride with my brother 🙏 and 1800km solo), on elevations between 0m to 5000m, a diverse mixture of landscapes from sea to desert to mountains with snow covered peaks, I’m thankful to have been given the chance again to tremendously enjoy this experience and with it to widen my horizon….
🙏🤲

Yesterday night I treated myself with an upgrade in the hotel room and paid USD 21 instead of USD 18 for a Mountain View 👇😉The night was not so easy since at 3540m you tend to wake up looking for oxygen . But in the morning a literally fresh day 👇 started for new...
